Adani Power Q3 Results: 12% profit to the company in third quarter, approved to raise 5000 crores through QIP

Adani Power on Wednesday announced the third quarter result of the financial year 2024-25 (FY25). The company’s NET profit in Q3 increased by 11.7 percent to Rs 3,057.21 crore. This figure was Rs 2,737.96 crore in the same period last year.

If we talk about revenue, there was a slight increase of 5.2 percent year after year (YOY), which increased from Rs 12,991.44 crore to Rs 13,671.18 crore. However, on a quarterly basis, the revenue declined by 8.4 percent, which was Rs 3,337.80 crore. Let us know that in the second quarter, the company’s operational revenue was Rs 13,339 crore.

The company’s total expenses increased by 6.2 percent year -on -year, which increased from Rs 10,144.89 crore to Rs 10,774.80 crore and increased by 8.5 percent on a quarterly basis, which was Rs 9,928.76 crore. The fuel, which is about 70 percent of the total expenses, declined by a slight decline of 1.6 percent year on the year to Rs 7,424.72 crore to Rs 7,548.98 crore, but increased by 6 percent on a quarter basis, which was Rs 7,032.22 crore. .

The company also informed that its Board of Directors have approved to raise money from the way to the eligible institutional placement (QIP) to raise an amount of up to Rs 5,000 crore.

In addition, the board has approved to increase its earlier plan from Rs 5,000 crore to Rs 11,000 crore from Rs 5,000 crore to Rs 11,000 crore through non-convertible bonds (NCDs).

Adaani Power shares were trading at Rs 523.5 in the afternoon on BSE, which increased by more than 5 percent after the announcement of Q3Fy25 financial results.
