Bajaj Finserv Q3: Profit increased by 3%, but shares broken 2.12%

Bajaj Group’s financial and insurance business listed holding company Bajaj Finserv with a net profit of Rs 2,231 crore in the third quarter ended the third quarter to Rs 2,231 crore. The company earned a net profit of Rs 2,158 crore in the same period last year. The company’s integrated income increased by 10 per cent in this period to Rs 32,042 crore, which was Rs 29,038 crore in the same period last year.

In a statement, Bajaj Finserv said that the company has increased emerging businesses including Bajaj Finserv Health, Bajaj Finserv Direct, Bajaj Finserv Asset Management and Bajaj Finserv Victures. In the third quarter, the loss of these businesses was Rs 95 crore, which was Rs 105 crore in the same period last year. The company’s stock fell 2.12 per cent on BSE at Rs 1,751.5.

The company’s interest income increased to Rs 17,408 crore in this period, which was Rs 13,922 crore in the same period of a year ago. Premium and other operational income from insurance business increased to Rs 13,341 crore in this period, which was Rs 12,308 crore in the same period last year.
