Tata Consumer Products Limited (TCPL), the major company making everyday goods (FMCG), has come down by 6.5 per cent to Rs 281.92 crore for the third quarter integrated third quarter ended December 2024.
TCPL has given this information to the stock markets. The company earned an integrated net profit of Rs 301.51 crore in the October-December quarter a year ago. The company’s operational income increased by 16.81 percent to Rs 4,443.56 crore during the quarter under review. It was Rs 3,803.92 crore in the same period of a year ago.
The total expenditure of TCPL increased by 22 percent to Rs 4,087.07 crore in the December quarter. The total income of the Tata Consumer, including other income, increased by 16.34 percent to Rs 4,495.16 crore. The total branded business of TCPL increased by 18.3 percent to Rs 4,026.15 crore in the December quarter. It was Rs 3,403.31 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year. TCPL branded businesses include tea, coffee, water and other various price -added businesses.
Its revenue increased by 19.31 percent to Rs 2,833.68 crore from the branded business in India in the December quarter. The international branded business of TCPL increased by 15.95 percent to Rs 1,192.47 crore. Whereas, its revenue from non-branded business was Rs 446.12 crore, which is an increase of 8.66 percent.
Commenting on the results, the company’s managing director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sunil D’Souza said, “We registered a 17 percent increase in business in the third quarter of FY 2024-25. We performed strongly in beverages and food items segment in India. ”
